This sweet little one came to me for her first birthday pictures. Mom did not want a cake smash but just a timeless reminder of this milestone. She did not want anything to do with me. thank you Covid, but we made it work! 

Tips for a first birthday session: Do not have high expectations. if you do have very high expectations(you know who you are) make sure your little one has been around a lot of strangers(think daycare, church nursery, grocery store etc) so that he or she is more likely to respond well to your photographer. At Jolie Anne Photography, you can also schedule a in studio consultation and bring your little one so we can meet and hang out a little bit. This might help for your upcoming session.
